Year 6 Oxley student Valentine M has raised more than $40,000 by making and selling beaded bee bracelets in support of the family of 10-year-old Matilda who lost her life in the 2025 Bondi terror attack. Valentine spent her summer holidays creating the bracelets, each featuring a small bee as a tribute to Matilda7MÊÓƵ middle name, and the initiative has grown into a global gesture of peace and remembrance. Valentine7MÊÓƵ goal is to raise enough money to gift Matilda7MÊÓƵ family, including her younger sister, Summer, a trip to Disneyland.
